Opportunity for God to come through...

Well, if you happen to read this today or tomorrow, please say a word of prayer for Laurie and I as I am going to talk to some of our neighbors about our situation regarding the townhouse. As any of you reading this blog already know, Laurie and I are excited about the move to MD to work with students at SRC. Our biggest piece that needs to fall into place is that of our housing.

We bought a great townhouse back in October that's only a mile away from Messiah College here in Grantham, PA. When we made the decision to be a part of the church plant, we had hoped that we would be able to keep our house in Grantham and rent it to college students while we saved up money for a deposit on a house down in MD. Unfortunately, it turns out that our townhouse association has a rule that only the owner or their direct relative may live in the house. In other words, no renters.

However, we see this as an opportunity for God to come through. We are praying that God will give us grace with the other homeowners, that when they hear our story, they would be willing to grant us an exception to the rule and allow us to rent out the house.
